Abortion is a spiritual battle PDF Print E-mail

In an email today about the murder of 17 students, a heading reads, "We all want our children to be safe." Immediately, I thought of the premeditated murder of 311 million US children since 1973. (See http://www.numberofabortions.com/).

The US Supreme Court committed a heinous crime by its vote of 7-2 to legalize the murder of innocent, helpless human beings. Percentage-wise, most of those precious babies were black, in keeping with Margaret Sanger's "eugenics" policy of "pulling the weeds from the garden of humanity." She liked Hitler's attempt to breed a superior white race.

Defunding Planned Parenthood is like cutting the tail off a poisonous snake 1/2 inch at a time. The snake will survive and turn to bite you. Planned Parenthood and all abortion businesses are wicked. Every abortion business must be abolished and the people involved brought to trial as murderers or accessories to murder.

God told Adam and Eve to fill the earth with people. They failed. Later, God told Noah and his family to fill the earth and they failed. In fact, the earth has never been filled. At its base, this is a spiritual battle. God wants the earth filled with people and Satan wants to thwart God's purpose by murdering people.

Satan has deceived the world: "And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him" (Revelation 12:9, NASB).

Jesus revealed Satan to be a liar and a murderer: "You [unbelievers] belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies" (John 8:44, NIV).

People are deeply troubled when 17 children are murdered by an apparently demonized boy and they should be. Yet, they don't seem to be affected by the slaughter of 61 million babies.

Jesus loves babies and I do, too:

Now some people were even bringing their infants to Jesus to have him touch them. But when the disciples saw this, they sternly told the people not to do that.
Jesus, however, called for the children and said, "Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom of God belongs to people like these.
I tell you with certainty, whoever doesn't receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never get into it at all."
Luke 18:15-17, NIrV
